Job Description:HCL International has fantastic opportunities to appoint Specialty Doctors Anaesthesia to join a large NHS Trust located in a beautiful city in Lincolnshire.
The Department of Anaesthesia provides a full range of anaesthesia services for the surgical specialties: the Obstetric Unit, the Intensive Care Unit, the Accident & Emergency department, the Radiology department and the on site Department of Psychiatry.
The primary responsibility of these posts will be for obstetric anaesthesia, but support will be required for general and gynaecology theatres and ECT.
The appointee will also be expected, in conjunction with his/her colleagues, to take part in a comprehensive General Anaesthetic service and provide, on a reciprocal basis, cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
1 in 7 or 8 resident on-call. This will be for either the obstetric anaesthetic rota or the 1st on-call general anaesthetic rota, probably on a rotational basis.
Approximately 30 lists in an 8 week period (average 3.75 lists per week).
Requirements:- Minimum of 3 years experience in anaesthesia;
- Evidence of completion of Basic Level training or equivalent competencies;
- Good, recent, in depth experience in contemporary obstetric anaesthesia and analgesia;
- GMC registration (or eligible);
- Good command of English.
