Job Description:HCL International has fantastic job opportunities for middle grade Emergency Medicine doctors to work in a large NHS Trust based in West Midlands.
DUTIES OF POSTHOLDER- Responsibility for the examination and treatment of patients attending the Emergency Department under the care of the Emergency Consultants.
- Shop floor management and leading the resuscitation team under Consultant supervision.
- Supervision and guidance of junior doctors, nursing and paramedical staff.
- Care of patients attending clinics in the Department.
- Enthusiastic participation in teaching programmes for junior staff, continuing medical education and clinical audit will be expected.
- Other duties at the request of the Consultants.
- Participation in a full shift, with ST and SAS doctors, providing 24 hour Middle Grade support to the Emergency Department.
Skills/Experience- Full GMC registration
- At least 3 years post-registration experience
- At least 12 months Emergency Medicine
- Able to demonstrate broad clinical skills in managing emergency patients
