Job Description:Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics
HCL International has fantastic job opportunities for middle grade Paediatricians to work in a large NHS Trust based in West Midlands.
Salary scale: £36,443 - £48,909
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Providing Middle Grade support to Paediatric outpatient clinics
- Participating in regular Paediatric & Neonatal ward rounds
- Providing Paediatric cover to A&E as required
- Reviewing Paediatric acute admissions on take days
- Provide Paediatric support in Community Clinics
- Providing Paediatric opinion in Child Abuse cases
Clinical experience:
- At least 3 years experience at SHO or Registrar level in Paediatrics, including 6 months level 2 neonatal experience or the equivalent
- Understanding of the working of the NHS
- APLS/EPLS provider
- NLS provider
- Ability to offer clinical opinion and advice on range of emergency and elective paediatric problems
- Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients where appropriate, whist recognising limitations
- Registration with the GMC
- Awareness of current NICE Guidelines relevant to paediatric practice
