Job Purpose

• Use evidence based practise to provide the highest level of care for children in and emergency setting
• Being responsible for assessing, treating, educating and advising patients
• Working in partnership with senior staff members to assess, manage and evaluate patient care
• Communicate effectively with the patients, their families and colleagues
• Administer prescribed medications and carry out necessary procedures
• Provide quality nursing care without direct supervision
• Adhering to regulations and policies specific to the department of the hospital

Responsibilities

• Working autonomously as well as within a close knit team
• Communicating efficiently with both colleagues and patients

Requirements

• You will have full NMC registration or be eligible to gain full NMC registration
• At least 2 years post registration experience required
• At least 1 year post registration experience within Paediatrics and/or A&E Nursing essential
• Relevant post registration qualification in paediatrics desirable
• You will have no visa restrictions
