Job Description:Middle Grade role in Anaesthesia
A new opportunity has arisen at HCL International for a Senior House Officer in Anaesthesia at one of the largest Teaching NHS Foundations Trusts Hospitals in Yorkshire.
The position is fixed term for a period of one year with the possibility of extension to 2 years. Senior post-fellowship specialist registrars or those doctors who have completed their training and are on the specialist register are welcomed to apply for this position. This role it is ideal for those doctors with an interest in critical care medicine or a career where additional experience in critical care medicine would be desirable.
Main responsibilities of the role are:- To assist the critically ill patients both in the critical care department and at the point of referral, and to provide advice and support to other teams;
- To get involved in the development, audit activities and services reviews;
- To provide teaching and training to the junior staff (specialist registrars) in the critical care medicine and anaesthesia;
- To support an coordinate the critical care services in the trust;
Job requirements:- Qualified Medical Practitioner
- Full registration/eligible or in the process of GMC
- Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists or equivalent education
- Appropriate Post-Fellowship experience
Person specification:- Computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to organize
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team working abilities
