Job Description:HCL International has great job opportunities for Junior and Middle Grade Doctors in Emergency Medicine to be based in a large NHS Trust in Lancashire, United Kingdom.
Contract length: 12 months +
Salary: 40 000 - 60 000 GBP per annum
12 contracted sessions per week, with no on call commitment. The rota is Full Shift resident in the department when on duty, including a night shift, weekends are split. Prospective cover for holidays is built in the rota. 1 session per week is allowed for teaching, audit, administration.
To provide, at a level of expertise, appropriate to a practitioner who has undergone a full programme of post-graduate training, the experience necessary for the primary management of Emergency cases. He/She will be required to work with the Senior House Officers in the management of the department workload as it presents. He/She will also be expected to provide a certain degree of supervision to the Senior House Officer and Emergency Nurse Practitioners.
Requirements:- Broad range of A & E experience including Emergency Medicine.
- Full time regular hospital service with at proven experience in Emergency Medicine
- Experience in other specialities e.g. Acute Medicine, Paediatrics, Critical Care
- Comprehensive pat ient management ability. Ability to train/supervise junior medical staff, medical students and emergency nurse practitioners.
- Full GMC registration
- Fluent English
