The successful A&E nurse will require:- Full NMC registration
- ALS essential
- 2 years post registration experience in an A&E/MAU setting
- Ability to Work autonomously as well as within a close knit team
- Ability to Communicate effectively with both colleagues and patients
The successful A&E nurse will be expected to:- Be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care for patients
- Deliver care in accordance with current ward philosophy
- Adhere to policies, procedures and guidelines contained within the Health and Social Services Policy Folders
- Under the direction of the nurse in charge regularly act as ward coordinator
- Take charge of the ward and supervise nursing staff on a regular basis
- Act as a clinical supervisor and preceptor to develop skills of first and second level nurses, and nursing auxiliaries
A&E Nurses applying must be eligible for full NMC registration and have recent relevant experience.
