DescriptionPulse International is looking for a Manager for the CSSD Department of a 112 bed hospital in Dammam, the capital of the Eastern province of Northwest Saudi Arabia.
Dammam lies on a large metropolitan and industrial area stretching into the Persian Gulf. It is a major seaport with excellent links to Bahrain and there are several beautiful coastal resorts within easy reach of the city.
The hospital is one of a group of major Middle Eastern hospitals, with medical facilities across Saudi Arabia and there are excellent opportunities for career development.
The CSSD Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running for the Central Sterile Supply Department. With an 80% operational presence he / she provides leadership and a resource role in the provision of the CSSD service.
The post holder plans, organizes, implements and evaluates service, process and unit function, managing all resources effectively and supervising an evaluating staff performance on an ongoing basis. He / she monitors and facilitates quality control management.
The successful candidate will have recognized western CSSD / TSSU cerification with at least five years experience in CSSD /TSSU and two years in a management position in a hospital of at least 100 beds. (Nursing registration with theatre experience would be an advantage.)
