Job Description:A prestigious and reputable NHS Hospital based East of London is currently looking for band 5, 6 & 7 staff nurses to work in their Acute Stroke Unit.
The successful applicants will ideally have at least 6 months experience in an acute stroke unit or at least 1 years experience in and acute medical ward. Preferably you will have previous experience working within the public health sector.
Responsibilities- Providing first rate care to patients in accordance to hospital policy
- Being responsible for assessing, treating, educating and advising patients
- Adhering to regulations and policies specific to the department of the hospital
- Working autonomously as well as within a close knit team
- Communicating efficiently with both colleagues and patients
Requirements- NMC Registered or eligibility to gain NMC Registration
- Acute stroke experience preferred.
- At least 1 year experience working on an Acute Medical Ward
- A team player with exemplary communication skills.
- Knowledge of other medical specialties.
